Job Description
Compliance Manager - London - required to join an industry leading Financial Services Client. 2 x roles in London and 2 x roles UK Wide (can be based from any location with travel). The suitable candidate will be responsible for working closely with the business to support and enhance the compliance culture in the organisation. You will provide technical guidance, support, tailored feedback on regulatory issues to both the business and the compliance management population, ensuring that new business proposals as well as existing processes, systems and controls comply with reulatory obligations. The suitable candidate will have solid Compliance management experience, have solid analytical and investigative skills in order to identify areas of non-conformance to process/regulatory compliance, root causes, key risks and challenges to the business and customers. You will have strong commercial acumen - be able to balance regulatory risks with the needs of the business, you will have some Project Management experience (with the ability to manage complex and technical issues across a variety of business areas and topics alongside the ability to adapt within an ever changing environment. You will have broad technical compliance knowledge and the application of FSA rules and guidance and ideally have working knowledge of key regulatory/consumer bodies including OFFCOM, ICO, Office of Fair Trading etc. You will have some Financial Services Industry Experience, either from the Banking Insurance and/or Life and Pensions Industry. You will also have FPC and/or CEFA 4 and/or CeMap qualified or part qualified. Risk, accountancy and legal experience/qualifications will also be considered.
