We are looking for a confident and professional person, ideally with a background in freight, to assist the manager of a Forwarding Department in Dover whilst also providing a cost effective collection and delivery service.

Main responsibilities:

Assist in allocating reloads for trailers and vice versa
Data inputting and keeping all records up to date
Providing quotations for customers
Sometimes booking freight crossings
Establishing customer/ haulage requriements
Maintaining good relationships woth customers and fellow staff
Deal with incoming queries as requried
Stationary control

The ideal candidate will also have good IT skills.

Due to the location of this office it is essential that you have your own form of transport unless you are very local.
